About the project

Riva Garage sells premium tuning products, above all headlights, tail lights, bumpers, body kits and lighting. Products for brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Hyundai, Ford, Seat, Renault, Toyota, Honda and Peugeot are sold online.

The hard part

The biggest risk with car parts is the wrong product. Customers don’t search for “headlights” but for “headlights that fit my car”; an incompatible part means both a return and lost trust. The second issue is payment trust: tuning products are relatively expensive, and buyers hesitate to enter card details on a site they don’t know.

How we built it

  • We tied navigation to vehicle brand. Instead of product categories, we opened entry by brand; customers choose their car first, which reduces the chance of landing on an incompatible part from the start.
  • We moved trust closer to the moment of purchase. Secure shopping, fast shipping and imported-product messages went on the first screen, while credit card, bank transfer and installment options were placed right next to the call to action.
  • We built complete legal and logistics pages. Returns and exchanges, shipping and delivery, payment options, the sales agreement and FAQs were each written separately — in e-commerce, these pages are both a legal requirement and a way to remove hesitation.
  • We made WhatsApp a sales channel. Customers with compatibility questions would rather message than fill out a form; a direct WhatsApp link turns those questions into sales.
  • We matched the visual language to the product. A dark background with blue accents fits the tuning aesthetic, where lighting products take center stage.

The result

The result is an e-commerce experience that reduces wrong-part risk through its navigation, makes payment trust visible and moves technical questions into fast communication.
