About the project
Clinicest is an independent platform that connects patients traveling to Istanbul from abroad for dental treatment with verified clinics. The site was designed entirely in English, with a Turkish option too; its audience comes mainly from Europe.
The hard part
In health tourism, the real barrier isn’t price — it’s trust. Visitors are about to pay a doctor they’ve never met, in another country, for a serious procedure. So the question the platform had to answer wasn’t “which clinic is cheaper” but “why should I trust this”.
How we built it
- We built trust into the structure. The verified clinic list, doctor profiles and patient reviews were set up as separately browsable sections; “verified” was positioned not as a badge but as a promise with content behind it.
- We explained pricing instead of hiding it. We designed a savings calculator flow that lets visitors compare against costs in their own country; transparency became the persuasion tool itself.
- We treated the treatment as a trip. The process from the first photo to the final result was explained step by step, and the travel side — accommodation and transfers — was made part of the flow, because the patient isn’t only thinking about the treatment.
- We answered questions honestly. The FAQ section was written to answer directly, free of marketing language.
The result
The result is a multilingual platform interface that makes treatment options and clinics comparable, and brings visitors to a decision without rushing them.
