About the project
Joanie & Me is a UK-based organic farming company. It works on the production and export of citrus products such as lemons, grapefruit, mandarins and pomegranates; the site is entirely in English and addresses international buyers.
Starting point
The visitor here isn’t an end consumer; it’s an importer, a wholesaler or a purchasing manager at a supermarket chain. That person cares less about beautiful photography and more about three things: what do you produce, at what capacity, and how do you ship it? Retail language doesn’t work with this audience.
Our approach
- We separated the products one by one. Lemons, grapefruit, mandarins and pomegranates each got their own page; buyers usually search for a single product.
- We made the export process visible. The “Produce & Export” section walks through the path from production to shipment, answering the question a B2B buyer really has.
- We built corporate trust plainly. The about and what-we-do sections were written in an understated, verifiable tone.
- We made getting in touch easy. A direct point of contact for international buyers was placed clearly at the end of the flow.
The result
The result is a straightforward corporate site that explains the product range and export capability in the language of the international buyer.
